I read your blog every week, and every week I get a little choked up and empowered to do more. This one however was a full on tear jerker for me, this is because I was in that garbage dump this summer, and I met the family that you are speaking of. And this article made me realize that I have to go back to the Dominican for sure, go back and reach out to all of those that I met this summer, I need to give my hand to those at the dump again. Thank you Christal for all that you have given me, by being a leader to us interns and being one of the most inspiring people that I have ever met. Christal,
